We have recently undergone an inspection by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) as part of their regulatory function. We have received an overall rating of 'Requires Improvement' and wish to offer reassurance to current and prospective staff and customers alike.
The areas where we need to make improvements as judged by CQC are currently being addressed and we wish to reassure all stakeholders there has been no risk to the general safety and security of anyone involved.
Since the inspection took place, we have already started to implement changes to the following:
Recruitment processes with a more rigorous approach to employing new team members
Enhanced medication policy to include PRN Protocols following NICE guidelines
Improvements to make our services more personalised
Developments of new documentation to make our service safer
More structured focus on our core values and workplace culture among the staff team
